Abstract. Chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CPPS) is interdisciplinary problem of practical medicine. CPPS is defined as pain, which is not associated with menstruation pain, lasting for at least 6 months, localized in the small pelvic area. Мodern multifactorial model of pain means that the genesis and maintenance of chronic pain involve several mechanisms: 1) chronic disease process in somatic or visceral structures; 2) long-term or permanent dysfunction of the peripheral or central nervous system; 3) psychological mechanisms; 4) social environment. The work represents the study’s data of psychoemotional state and clinical-electroneurophysiological features of CPPS in women of reproductive age, new pathogenetic-based approaches to diagnosis and treatment, using methods of traditional medicine. General clinical-neurological, electroneurophysiological, special gynecological examinations’ methods and psychological tests (MMPI, Spielberg) have been used. All patients have received complex treatment using hirudotherapy, soft techniques of manual therapy and rational psychotherapy. Significant improvement in all examined parameters has been registered in all patients.

Application of Kaplan—Meyer method for evaluation of integratedness duration of dental implants

Gunel B. Alieva, Azerbaijan State Aliev Institute of Postgraduate Medical Studies, Azerbaijan Republic, АZ1012 Baku, Tbilissky pr., quart. 3165 [

Abstract. The object of the work was to prove the advantages of Kaplan—Meyer method during the study of survivability of dental implants. The integration of 365 dental implants has been estimated by retrospective supervision installed during 2006-2012. The table with the cases’ indication of disintegration (non-fulfilment of supporting- holding function) and the time, passed from the moment of implantation, has been made. The 3—73-months’ survivability has been calculated on the base of Kaplan-Meyer’s method, standard mistake and 95% of confidential interval have been determined after Grinvud’s formula. The log rank criterion was used for evaluation of the difference’s trustworthiness. The received results of our study show that existing practice of integration’s evaluation of dental implants isn’t rather adequate, and the above-stated methodical approach of the dental implants significantly expands survivability characteristics.

Key words: duration, integration, implant, Kaplan—Meyer’s method.

Abil R. Agasiev, Azerbaijan State Aliev Institute of Postgraduate Medical Studies, Azerbaijan Republic, АZ1012 Baku, Tbilissky pr., quart. 3165 [

Abstract. The experience of use of the standard of the sanatorium help to the patients with coronary heart disease has been estimated in the work. Identity of procedures’ types, used in groups of patients with positive (improvement) and negative (without changes) treatment outcome has been shown. It is considered that the standard contains the complex of recommended procedures for the general contingent as average indicators and doesn’t focus on concrete person. Therefore such standard is useful to institution’s work planning, but isn’t suitable for the solution of problems like «the consumer and supplier» (the patient and the doctor). Need of development of the new standard on the principles of evidence-based medicine has been shown.

Abstract. Last ten years the mortality rate from circulatory diseases in the economically developed countries decreases gradually, though the mortality rate from circulatory diseases in Russia began to develop in the opposite direction. In the present the mortality rate from circulatory diseases in Russian men is 4,2 times higher than in the countries of Western Europe. The difference in mortality rates is connected with peculiarities of diagnostic criteria of making out of the posthumous diagnoses and occurring during lifetime and also the statistic reports of mortality rates from circulatory diseases in Russia and in the economically developed countries. It is necessary to improve the Russian medical statistics with the reference to circulatory diseases so it could coincide with medical statistics in the economically developed countries.
