Dynamics of general disability of adult population of Perm territory and its prognosis
Yu.A. Mavlikay eva, M.Ya. Podlouzhnaya
Abstract. The information base on disability of adult
population in the region was analyzed, and the peculiarities of general
disability prevalence with consideration of age were determined.
Concluded that this index in children up to 18 years had a tendency to
decrease, there were its stabilization among adults of able-bodied age
and rapid increase among population of older age groups. The prognosis
on the quantity of disabled people in the region for the period until
2015 with the help of regression analysis method was carried out. It was
determined that when maintaining the existing tendencies there is a
prognosis of the increase in the general quantity of disabled people in the krai because
of increase of their quantity in the retirement age. However, there is
no increase in the quantity of disabled people of able-bodied age. Key words: disability, information base, dynamics, prognosis, regression analysis, adult population.
Epidemiology of road-traffic accidents in Chuvashia Republic
A.V. Orlova
Abstract. Death rate from road-traffic accidents (RTA) in the
territory of Chuvashia Republic is at the level of 23 cases per 100 000
population. Most traumatic twenty-four-hour period is from 4 till 9
p.m., maximum at 5–7 p.m. (from 10 to 13 cases per 100 000 population).
The emergency days of the week are Friday and Saturday. Second half of a
year (from May up to December) is characterized by increase of
traumatism. Among adults the most part of traumas occurs during the
autumn period (36%), among children — during the summer period (32%).
The main kind of RTA is hitting a pedestrian. Key words: road-traffic accidents, death rate.
The characteristics of metabolic syndrome components in patients with type II diabetes mellitus in Chuvashia Republic
A.N. Farman, A.P. Tsyboulkin, L.M. Merkoulova
Abstract. The aim of the research was to study the frequency
and intensity of metabolic syndrome (MS) and its separate components in
patients with type II diabetes mellitus (DM) in Chuvashia Republic. The
prevalence of MS (diagnostics according to IDF 2005) among patients with
type II DM was higher in women (87,8%) comparing with men (58,8%). The
main component of MS was abdominal type of obesity in 93,9% of women and
67,6% of men. The increase in the intensity of abdominal type of
obesity was accompanied by the rapid increase of average values of
arterial blood pressure and the level of triglycerides. Arterial
hypertension was found in 89,9% of female and 67,7% of male patients
with type II DM. Key words: type II DM, metabolic syndrome, obesity, arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia.
Prevalence of tooth-jaw anomalies in adolescents (according to materials of Samara and Samara region)
A.F. Ishmouratova, A.V. Anokhina, T.I. Sadykova
Abstract. Health of tooth-jaw system (TJS) in 659 adolescents
of 12—15 years old in Samara and Samara region was studied. 141
adolescents (21,4 cases from 100) with orthognathic occlusion without
tooth-jaw anomalies (TJA) were revealed. A group with neutrocclusion and
with TJA consisted of 287 persons (43,5±1,9 cases from 100); a group
with distal occlusion and TJA — 192 people (29,1±1,8 cases from 100),
including 16 (2,4±0,6 cases from 100) with compensated form of anomaly. A
group with mesial occlusion and TJA — 39 persons, or 5,9±0,9 cases from
100 examined ones, including 6 (0,9±0,4 cases from 100) with
compensated form. Orthodontic pathology was revealed in 78,6±1,6 cases
from 100 examined ones. Its prevalence made 104,4 cases to 100
adolescents of 12—15 years old. The main reason, why the patients didn’t
consult a doctor in time, was unwillingness to bear active apparatus
(52%). Third of adolescents (34,5 cases from 100) agreed that it was
necessary to take orthodontic treatment, but before our examination only
9 adolescents of 100, who required a treatment, were consulted by a
orthodontist. Key words: tooth-jaw anomalies, tooth-jaw system, prevalence, adolescents.
Prevalence and zone dependence of tooth-jaw diseases in Chuvashiya
R.S. Matveyev, I.G. Yamashev
Abstract. The prevalence of the main groups of dental diseases
in Chuvashiya, taking into account age features and regional
(biogeochemical) conditions of residing, is considered. With this aim
558 natives of Chuvashia at the age of 15—20 years were examined. The
index «caries+filling» (CF) was defined and the functional state of
tooth-jaw system according to the frequency of occurrence of teeth
density, interdentium, type of maxillary overbite was estimated. It is
found out that the prevalence of the main dental diseases in the Chuvash
Republic has rather expressed regional peculiarities, that caused not
only by administrativeterritorial division and age of the examined, but
also by ecologic-biogeochemical conditions of residing, that should be
taken into account when carrying out the primary prophylaxis. Key words: tooth-jaw system, biogeochemistry, prophylaxis.

oncological risks of malignant tumors development in the territory of
fuel-energy type of technogenesis in Udmurt Republic. There are
determined the main localizations of malignant tumors and sex-age
groups, for which the maximal values of indices are characteristic. The
maximal values of risk are calculated for prostate (OR 5,2), lip (ОR
4,8), ovaries (OR 4,1), esophagus (OR 3,9) tumors. High risk of
development of connective tissue tumors (ОR 8,3) is determined for young
able-bodied women of 20—29 years old, among men of the same age the
risk of lymphatic and hematopoietic tissue tumors (OR 3,8) is high. Key words: fuel and energy technogenesis, oncological risk, prostate tumors.

analysis of treatment of 22 adolescents with acute lymphoblastic
leukemia according to protocol ALL-IC-BFM-2002 has shown the medical
(five-year survival rate is 0,78±0,05), the economic (expenses on one
year of saved life of high quality is in 15,6 times less than the gross

expenses of society on their treatment in 1,7 times) efficiency of this
medical technology. Key words: adolescents, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, protocol ALL-IC-BFM-2002, survival rate, quality of life.

Risk factors of iodine-deficiency states development and their correction in the territory of the Saratov region
S.V. Sergeyeva, Yu.Yu. Yeliseyev
Abstract. The research has revealed, that besides the
biochemical influence of environment, the risk factors for the pathology
formation of children in infancy and generations are: genetic depending
diseases, somatic and infectious diseases, mother’s health status, her
nutrition before and after pregnancy, feeding of children during the
first year of their life. The analysis of nutrition quality of
population in the region has revealed the breach of principles of
rational nutrition: imbalance in intake of fats, low level of intake of
animal proteins, shortage of vegetables and fruits, dependence of it on
season, that serves as a main cause of polymicroelementosis in
combination with hypovitaminosis, which, in their turn, are the leading
risk factors for thyroid gland diseases development. The formation of
iodine-deficiency state in children population in the region is traced
particularly. The development scheme of risk formation for health of
population has allowed to establish the mechanisms and to determine a
spectrum of preventive trends. Key words: iodine-deficiency, factor, risk, endemicity, correction.
Support of decision-making on improvement of ecological situation in megapolis
L.Z. Rashitov, A.B. Gallyamov, Sh.M. Vakhitov
Abstract. Assessment of any phenomenon with parameter as a
method of analysis is considered as an inadequate by many researchers.
However, in practice such monoassessment is widely used because of its
simplicity for using. For example it is used for assessment of air
pollution with different substances, such as benzopyrene (BP). The
technique of complex assessment using 3 parameters is described in this
article: BP concentration in different areas air, ratio of air pollution
indices, dynamics of pollution index for several years. This technique
can be used for assessment of environment air pollution with various
other substances. Key words: air, benzopyrene, area ranking.
