of the Russian Federation. Materials of official statistics of the Chuvash Republic, a database on the health status of the
population and the activities of the healthcare system of the Chuvash Republic (compiled using the «Medstat» software),
statistical reports of the Federal State Statistical Monitoring of the healthcare system of the Chuvash Republic were used.
The study revealed that the life expectancy increased, the indicators of general mortality, mortality from cardiovascular
and a number of other diseases decreased. The main causes of death for residents of the republic are circulatory system
diseases, external causes of death and neoplasms. The three-tier model of medical care built within the framework of the
Healthcare Modernization Program, with clear patient routing across all disease profiles at all stages of medical care, has
improved the health status of the population.

disabilities, their families’ support in the conditions of the implementation of priority national projects in healthcare. The
studies show a trend for reduction of general level of disability if the risk factors such as burdened heredity, smoking and
drinking, harmful working conditions will be eliminated. The priority in solving the problems of child disability is given to the
improvement of antenatal and perinatal care, preventive work with healthy children (but with developmental disabilities)
and the implementation of various pathology types’ screening programs.

Abctract. The purpose of the study is the estimation of reproductive health of working women, living in the mining
region, as well as factors of deterioration of their health. The reproductive health of 535 female workers in the mining
and processing enterprise was studied. A retrospective analysis of the case histories of the pregnancy course, childbirth
histories and newborn developmental histories was carried out. Formal statistical data characterizing fertility, quantitative
and qualitative signs of pregnancy, child- birth outcomes for women and fetuses were assessed. Results. Inflammatory
diseases of the uterus and appendages rank first among female workers of the study group in the structure of gynecological
pathology; uterine fibroids and endometriosis rank second, and menstrual disorders rank third. A high prevalence of pathology
during pregnancy and the incidence of newborns among female workers in the study group have been revealed. Fertility
in the areas of Zauralye has increased in 2000–2015. However, there is a negative tendency in indicators of spontaneous
abortions, congenital malformations, stillbirths, and early neonatal mortality. The most common chemical contaminant is
heavy metal pollution, the source of which is mining and processing of minerals in the areas of Zauralye. Indicators of
reproductive risk of the population are the course and outcomes of pregnancies, characterized by spontaneous abortion,
premature birth, the proportion of normal or complicated births. Conclusions. A high level of occupational dependance
to certain types of reproductive disorders among female workers in the processing industry has been revealed. The
environmental dependance to the disorders of reproductive health has been detected at the population of Bashkirian
Zauralye exposed to natural and anthropogenic burden caused by a complex of heavy metals.
Key words: mining and processing enterprise, harmful occupational factors, reproductive health disorders, occupational
and environmental dependance, chemical burden.

collection of the information and the method of mathematical statistics during the information processing. The results. Overweight was found in 22,4% of the examined people, obesity – in 12,2%, hypodynamia – in 40,7%, frequent stresses –
in 38,5% of respondents. Male awareness of cholesterol levels was 6.1%, and blood sugar levels were 13,6%. Female

correlation between the symptoms of periodontal disease and the state of oral hygiene, as well as temporo-mandibular
joint (TMJ) pathology with the height of dentition overlap (r=0,87), sagittal (r=0,51) and transversal malocclusions (r=0,52)
are presented. We made a conclusion that children needed planning sanitation and preventive measures for dental health.

Abstract. The purpose of this article is the clarification of the organization of the sanitary and hygienic measures on
health protection of the most vulnerable population: women and children. The North Caucasus has been considered a
problematic region for the organization and implementation of new forms of sanitary and medical measures. This was
greatly influenced by the established traditions and customs of the indigenous population, the way of life and the nature
of food, the extensive practice of folk healers. We had to take into account the national contexts realizing measures to
protect health of women and children. The article evaluates the effectiveness of introduction of patronage, the increase
in primary health care facilities, and also maternity beds. These measures contributed to more complete coverage by
preventive examinations and the timely provision of medical care.

Аbstract. The purpose of the study is to analyze the experience of introducing into the practice a new organizational
form of primary care provision to elderly patients with multiple chronic diseases and to evaluate its effectiveness. Sources
of information (research materials) were: articles, materials of state statistics, official reporting documentation of Moscow
Health Department, collections of average Moscow activity indicators of healthcare institutions of the Moscow Health
Department in 2007–2014, and results of a sociological survey. A comprehensive methodology was used in accordance
with the objectives of the study, including such methods as: the study and synthesis of experience, statistical, analytical,
sociological, monographic descriptions, economic, comparative analysis, organizational experiment, etc. In general, the
article provides a detailed description of the organizational measures being carried out at various stages of the introduction
of a new organizational form of primary health provision to patients of elderly and senile patients suffering from multiple
chronic diseases in Moscow. The special aspects of this innovation, the results of evaluating the effectiveness of its
functioning according to three components (medical, social, economic) are considered. It is shown that the proposed
new approach to patient management is characterized by a more personalized approach, because individual physician is
allocated for the patients included in the program (the district covered by each physician is about 400 patients); the task of
individual physician is comprehensive patient management and dynamic observation taking into account all his diseases.
